Visiting a church can raise surprisingly practical questions. Where should the children go? Who can explain the service? Is it acceptable to sit quietly and take everything in?
Begin by using our contact page to confirm current service or program details. When you arrive, tell someone that it is your first visit. That small introduction gives the church family a chance to help with children’s activities, seating, or any questions about the service.
You are welcome to participate at your own pace. Join in the worship, follow the Scripture reading, or simply listen. A first Sunday works best as an honest introduction rather than a test you have to pass.
Helpful Tip:
If children or teenagers will attend with you, mention their ages before your visit. The ministry team can point your family toward the most relevant Kids or Youth setting and share the current arrangements.
